Liminal is a performance, video project and installation centered around the concept of liminality, a transitory space where one can seek mental refuge and reconstruct the identity.
I initiated this project in response to a psychological burnout – metropolitan stress, mass consumption, social pressure, cycling patterns, unknown futures, identity confusion, loss of control, the futility of things, the chaos of the universe, the end of things and the fear of beginnings.
For once, I decided to ignore everything and to leave room for emptiness. In-between places. In-between moments.
